Different types of numbers
FollowMe Numbers can appear to be linked to a specific country and city (geographic) such as 0208 111 2222 (a UK London number), or quite simply can have no fixed location (non-geographic).
Retain privacy and control
Via the chip-chat web platform you manage how and where your calls are diverted, whilst ensuring that your customers only ever know your one contact phone number. This contact number can be routed to any landline or mobile, without the need to release or publish the actual destination number.
Voicemail
Should you be unable to answer a FollowMe call you can automatically route your customer to a voicemail facility. Voicemails can then be delivered to you by email in wav format.
FaxMail
Your FlexiNumber can be configured as a virtual fax machine. Our telephony platform answers incoming faxes directed towards your FlexiNumber and coverts them to PDF (Portable Document Format) documents. These PDF Files can then be forwarded to your email address and/or optionally stored on our secure server.
Text Messaging
Via the chip-chat platform, you can send SMS text messages to one or more mobile phones.
All text messages are sent out over our premium UK based SMS Gateway and messages will typically arrive in under 20 seconds. Please note that if the receiving network is particularly busy or of a low standard i.e. within a developing country, texts can take significantly longer.
